Review by hotel critic
During our recent Christmas stay at Hotel Gasthof Alte Post in Holzkirchen, I was thoroughly impressed by the beautiful, spacious rooms that not only offered modern amenities but also a lovely balcony to soak in the Bavarian countryside views. The friendly staff made us feel right at home, and the exceptional breakfast, featuring local Bavarian dishes, was a delightful start to our mornings, especially with our two daughters excited to try everything! With easy access from the Autobahn and free parking, this family-run gem is perfect for both a picturesque getaway and outdoor adventures-there's something magical about hiking in the surrounding hills. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort and a taste of local charm!
